Teach Motivated Adults in Seoul or Busan Jan 1st!Pagoda Academy Published: September 23, 2015
Interested in teaching motivated adult students at one of Korea's most respected schools? Pagoda Academy has full-time openings at our Seoul (Gangnam & Jongno) and Busan (Seomyeon, PNU) branches starting January 1st teaching conversation classes to our great adult students.
All of Pagoda’s students are adults, and you would be teaching our SLE program (conversation class) to small groups of them (3-10 students per class).
Pagoda Academy is at the forefront of foreign language education in Korea. Through the support of dedicated teachers and motivated students, Pagoda has grown considerably since its foundation in 1969 and currently employs over 150 native English-speaking teachers at branches in Seoul, Busan, and Incheon.
Exact salary depends on the amount and type of classes taught, but most new teachers typically have 6-8 hours of class Monday to Friday and earn W2,600,000 to W3,200,000 per month.
Hear from some of our former teachers:
“I discovered a love for working with adults and haven’t been able to let go of that passion.” - Kristen, USA
“I have never been more impressed by my students’ abilities to speak truly from their minds than in these classes. I love that each month brings new, untested possibilities.” - Christine, USA
Preference is given to qualified candidates (TESL, CELTA, DELTA, etc) with experience teaching adults, but as personality plays an important part in our classes all candidates are welcome to apply.
